Novel Inspiration Part 2

A few more novel effects to share with you all, part 3 to come soon.  This first is 3D effect which all students of Japanese embroidery will recognise, this has a different take on the colour scheme which is interesting.

A different way of showing water. Made up of teeny, tiny stitches, about the size of our pinheads.

This seems to be a variation on random realistic.

If you look carefully it looks like this has been worked from the outside in as the final stitches on the ends of the 'petals' are underneath the others.

And to finish with today a different way of using flat gold.
